May Roundup

Foreword

We’ve been focused on improving the financing module within wawa. This month we release substantial improvements: It’s simpler, it more flexibly supports your chosen workflows, and it saves you time. If you’re a Xero user, you’ll no doubt be happy!

App 3.15.0 → 3.16.0

  • Collect NPS feedback and reviews →
  • Wawa requires medications to have start date, end date, and time so we can send notifications at the right time. Sometimes we can’t get that from an EMR system, so we added the ability to show medication without those in the app.
  • Notifications persist within the Notification Center within the app, and they have an unread/read state.
  • We’ve added the notification count bubble to the app, a persistent nudge that patients have incomplete tasks/unread notifications.
  • We’re started collecting feedback on the quality of calls after they are completed, with a 5-star rating.
  • Patients can enable PIN, Touch ID, Face ID and other biometric authentication methods in order to lock down access to the app.
  • Made it possible to open PDFs that are password-protected in the app.

Finances in the app

Our focus on finances extends to the app too. We’ve been focused on trying to nudge patients more, to reduce the amount of work care teams are doing to chase payments.

  • Updated finance overview to summarise the current outstanding totals/invoices.
  • Added call-to-action buttons on the Finance cards on the home screen, prompting users to Pay now.
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay support (via Stripe), so payments can be completed more quickly.
  • Added support for user-defined reminders. Users can tap “Remind me” on many tasks and schedule a notification in the future.
