Calendar worklist & statuses

Calendar

Highlights

  • We really wanted to build something to help Receptionists keep track of patients as they arrive. A big patient face photo, should help you more easily identify them as they walk in.
  • Worklists are now available in the calendar. They’re a great way to see all the patients you’re seeing on a given day in one place.
  • Keep track of where patient are in their journey, how many open tasks there are, whether they’ve paid their invoices, and whether they’ve signed all their consents.
  • You can join your call directly from the worklist too.
  • Need a printout? Click “Export PDF” and get a nicely formatted document ready for the printer 🖨️

Statuses

  • We added statuses to appointments to help you keep track of where patients are in the clinic.
  • Some statuses are fixed by wawa. For example, the Pending, Waiting Room, In Consultation, No Show, Cancelled and Completed statuses are fixed. This allows us to build automations around them.
  • You can create custom statuses to help you track other things, but everyone should end up in Completed at the end of the day.
  • There’s a countdown for some of the statuses, keeping track of how long they’ve been in that status. For example, has someone been In Consultation for a long time? Perhaps they already left.
  • You can also change the status from the standard calendar, at the bottom.

Filtering & saved views

  • By choosing from the dropdowns at the top of the worklist, you can filter the list by status, calendar, appointment type and location.
  • You can also save views by clicking the Save button at the top of the worklist. This adds it to the tabs at the top.

Misc other calendar updates

  • You can see a phone number on the patient card.
  • You can click More → Chat with patient to open a chat with the patient directly.
  • Activity Feed in the calendar card shows you relevant changes with this calendar event.
